The 2025 Fly Fishing Show is Coming to Lancaster, PA in March
The 2025 Fly Fishing Show is making its sixth and final stop in Lancaster, Pennsylvania at the Lancaster County Convention Center on March 15th & 16th. This annual traveling circus of new and seasoned fly fishing anglers and industry professionals is a go-to for anyone interested in the most innovative gear on the market, picking up new skills and knowledge, or just looking to kick back and relax with fellow community members. New or experienced anglers can pick up valuable knowledge by attending classes offered at the Fly Fishing Learning Center throughout the day on the main show floor. Classes available include instruction in fly tying, casting, and knot tying. In addition, many lectures will be presented throughout the two days. Last years lectures included “Fly Fishing Saltwater” and “Improving Your Dry Fly Presentation”, with new topics taught by expert anglers this year.
To stretch out after a class or lecture, there will be approximately 175 booths run by top gear brands, guide services, lodges, and authors. Looking for a new rod? Stop by the booths of the most trusted rod companies and get a feel for how the rod handles by casting into the demo pond. Swing by the booths run by some of the best fly shops in the area to support local business and get insight on the area's fisheries. To discover new flies and tying techniques to freshen up those boxes, the show will also feature around 50 booths where attendees have the ability to watch live demonstrations from the most skilled fly tyers in the industry.
For a relaxing post-show outing, the “Lancaster Brewing Company” and “Our Town Brewery” are located right in Lancaster and are the perfect places to grab a beverage. For food, explore the local cuisine that the area offers. A stand-out is the Chellas Arepa Kitchen, which is a unique food truck in Lancaster serving up mouth-watering South American-inspired dishes.
The 2024 Lancaster Fly Fishing Show is a must-stop show that allows anglers to connect to the Pennsylvania and fly fishing community as a whole, get first hand experience with new and innovative gear, and continue to develop further as an angler.
